My stay at the Grassmarket Hotel had its highlights. the location was fabulous, right in the heart of Edinburgh and close to major attractions like Edinburgh Castle. However, I did find the room quite small, and accessing it involved quite a trek through an awkward corridor and stairs. The bathroom was modern and clean, and I enjoyed the spacious shower, but I could have used more room for luggage.

Breakfast at Biddy Mulligans was convenient, though it could definitely use some improvement in quality and presentation. My experience with the buffet was a bit lackluster.

The hotel had unique design elements and provided modern amenities, but navigating to my room felt cumbersome due to the winding corridors and staircases.

I had a mix of experiences at the Grassmarket Hotel. While the quirky decor and location near major attractions like Edinburgh Castle were definite highlights, I faced several issues. The noise from the lively surroundings made it challenging to rest, especially during the late-night hours. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, which brightened my stay. Overall, it was a unique experience with both positive and negative aspects. 🌆😕

My stay at the Grassmarket Hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore Edinburgh's main attractions. However, I encountered several issues with cleanliness and room condition that detracted from my experience. While the staff was friendly and willing to help, some aspects of the hotel felt more like a hostel than a boutique hotel, leaving me a bit disappointed overall.
Rooms

The room I had was cramped and not well cleaned, with outdated furniture and an unpleasant view. It felt quite claustrophobic and in need of maintenance.

My stay at the Grassmarket Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore iconic spots like Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. However, I faced some discomfort with the room access and heating issues. Despite these concerns, the overall ambiance and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and I would consider returning.
Rooms

I found the room cozy, but accessing it from the lift involved a narrow staircase, which was challenging. The heating was not effective, and although the shower was great, it was a bit slippery. Additionally, the room felt smaller than expected, and some amenities were lacking, like USB charging points.

While the hotel had a unique character, there were some hiccups; for instance, the TV and safe in my room weren't functioning properly, and the room wasn't serviced during my stay. Nonetheless, the general cleanliness was commendable.

My stay at the Grassmarket Hotel had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle and close to the Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. However, the noise from the nearby bars and the street made it difficult for me to get a proper night's sleep. 💤
Rooms

My room was on the small side but decorated in a modern style. Unfortunately, there was a faint odour and the window let in street noise. The bed was very comfortable, but I faced issues with noise and drafts.😩
Service

I couldn't have asked for a better location! The Grassmarket area was vibrant, and being within walking distance of major attractions made exploring a breeze.
Dining

Breakfast was served at the pub next door. While it was convenient, I found the variety, especially for vegans, quite limited. It took a bit longer to be served, which was frustrating.
Facilities

The hotel was clean and offered good amenities, including a TV and Wi-Fi. However, the minor issues with the wet room shower slipping made it less than perfect.
